Tim Butikofer is President of Federal Hybrids, Inc. and has been in the seed corn industry 30 years. He purchased Federal Hybrids in 1999 and is excited to see it grow. Tim first entered the seed corn industry in 1975 with Super Crost seeds, working as a key salesman. In 1984, he started AgVenture of Iowa, which grew into a successful business.
Tim lives in Elgin, Iowa with wife Kathy. He is always on-the-go. He enjoys traveling, spending time with his grandchildren, and serving on a World Relief Organization through his church...

Kent Banwart is Vice-President/Product Manager of Federal Hybrids, Inc. and has been in the seed corn industry for 30 years. He is a part owner of Federal Hybrids and specializes in production, sales and inventory management. Kent first entered the seed corn industry in 1979 with Super Crost seeds. In 1985, he started with AgVenture of Iowa as Area Manager until he accepted his current role with Federal Hybrids in 2004.
Kent lives in West Bend, Iowa with wife Beth and their five children. He enjoys working with corn genetics, spending time on his farm, and spending time with his family.
